We recommend use of the 3/8″ John Guest LLDPE on the gas side for better compatibility with barbs if they are used (Heavier wall thickness) or for use with 3/8″ John Guest speedfit fittings for the ultimate in adaptability.
If using the John Guest 3/8″ line for beverage dispense, for most keg systems used at home a line length of 4m will give sufficient peripheral resistance to slow beer flow and avoid fobbing issues, while allowing a decent pour rate at 75kpa (10psi).
Shorter line lengths can be used if the tap has flow control adjustment 5/16″ OD line can achieve the same results with 3m of line length on the beverage dispense side of your keg system.
